A TRF Comic...

If you'll remember, a little while back I did a few doodles making fun of various situations going on at TRF. It was a bit of a laugh, and something to do. Recently, however, I cam across SWFans, and noticed that they actually have a webcomic.

Now, it appears the webcomic doesn't update often, but that's besides the point. The point being, that a comic based after our writing would be cool, too.

There is a problem with that, however. Namely, it'd be hard to think of things you could make a comic about. Sure, we could give it a TRF feel, and just make comics about depressing things, but isn't satire way more fun? I was thinking about it, and since I have more time I just might give it a try. It wouldn't be a 'weekly update' sort of thing, if I did do it, because I tend not to be good at remembering to do things. It'd be more like a "Whenever there's something worth making a comic about, I have an idea, and I feel like it" sort of thing. Also, I am no artist, so if I did do it I wouldn't be starting immeadietly so that I could perhaps take time to better learn how to draw.

Anyways, it's just an idea. I like TRF, and I like webcomics, so who knows, if I work out the details maybe it'd even attract some new members.

Any thoughts?

Can any of us draw is the question?

Perhaps something along the lines of penny arcade? With the simple cartoony like drawings for a series of panels? (4-5 or so)

In which case... I could probably draw you some basic facial/character templates which you can then trace for each of your panels.

Just an idea.

Nah, that's ok. I've always wanted an excuse to learn to draw. Some motivation, y'know? If I do, then making a TRF comic could be very fun.

Renford and I brainstormed this about two months ago, and spit out this. Nothing since then, though I've been thinking of picking it up again.
