When I mentioned the user groups idea earlier, this is what I ment:
As you can see in the link below, there are currently three user groups in which you can become a member. All three are Jedi user groups. My idea would be to create a user group for each faction, so that each member of that faction would be displayed in there profile as being a member of the Group: Black Dragon Empire (for example). This would also allow for greater group promotion on the new board.
We could also allow for smaller sub-groups with more than one member to have a user group, though that may clutter the groups list up a bit.
