Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Paul but I created this username for the character I will be playing - Which, of course, I wont actually start playing until I finish the 8x10^57 pages I need to read to catch up on what's going on! :)

Now everyone play nice with the recruit I brought in. He's a good writer, and best of all he can smack me around when I owe people posts.

Welcome to The Rebel Faction; use at your own risk. That said, make sure you take a look at our Rules & FAQ (the link can be found in the side-bar on default skin or in drop menus on others). This will give you a good understanding of how things work around here. It will probably raise a few questions as well - go ahead and ask away. We have various other resources which will also help you get a feel for the place. This include but are not limited to our Timeline, which will give you an idea of what has happened in the past and where we are now as well as where we broke from the traditional Star Wars canon. Also, you will find a Biographies section which will help you to understand how we structure characters here-abouts (you may notice we aren't Jedi-happy like other forums) and with that check out our Factions sub-heading. Factions are a very important part of TRF and while you don't need to join one it will help your writing if you know who the major players are and their affiliations. The Showcase is just that - a show casing of the most pivotal and best composed threads ongoing and past. Before you dive in headlong I, personally, recommend lurking for a while. Do some research (TRF is not the easiest place to integrate with and a little study will go a long way to ease that transition) and ask any/all questions that might pop in to your head. Some of our members can be a little snarky, myself among that bunch, but we're generally helpful. So don't be shy - have fun.
See: Make Irtar answer all outstanding debts.
