Noone here has any time or will to roleplay . . .the battlegrounds are all an illusion.

Now, look at the silly monkey.

Quiet Hank!

Lil... So you are roleplaying during Palpatine's Reign or was this some pet project of Palpatine's kept alive after his death?

*shrug* when I wrote the back story it was four years ago, and I didn't know what 'time' anyone else I was RPing with was RPing in... if that makes sense.

So at first my character had all this angst about Palpatine killing her parents (indirectly), and then I've slowly started ignoring that bit of it, because Swfans is set about 50 yrs after RotJ, give or take twenty years. In short, no one knows.

So the 'shadow academy,' which I took from the Extended Universe young jedi knights (I think), can be some weird Force project of whatever ruling Imperial faction there might be, or even one that exists only in my mind that no one RPs or cares about anymore. And the Empire that conscripted LD can simply be... something Imperial that stole her off Coruscant.

I don't even know the state of Coruscant in this universe. Is there something I can read about planet holdings?

Coruscant is under Imperial control, at the moment, and has been for about timeline a decade, I would say. It's been a while. But for a period after the failed Vong invasion, it was run by a somewhat fading and depleted New Republic, which has now fallen by the wayside.

Some reference on how Coruscant fell into Imperial hands:

The takeover itself

Highlites from the Endgame series of roleplays

Hyfesters Imperial Address, included in the takeover, but posted as a PA broadcast and replied to by faction leaders

Latest RPs I could find with mentions of Coruscant that seem relevant:

Lilaena, looks like you're still waiting, so I guess I'll hop in.

My character Lahout will be exiting this thread within the next few posts. Would it work if he came across you? What excuse to the extreme convenience of finding you in the blackness of space would you prefer?

I don't know how long I'll continue the RP for, since Lahout is on a bit of a mission within a mission right now, but the least I can do is give you an introduction to TRF. Or, if you're not doing anything else, perhaps you'll come along for the ride. :)

I can certainly come along for the ride. :D I was thinking about just trying to RP my way out of my strandedness by myself, but if you can happen upon me, all the better.

As far as an excuse to find me in the blackness of space, there's the one where the Force guides a person to simply pull a ship out of hyperspace on impulse... Or slight engine trouble, leading to an unplanned reversion to real space + extreme coincidence.

Or your hyperspace route could take you directly through my ship, destroying us both in the process. I'm not a big fan of this one, myself.
