If you don't mind breaking a nail, an orbital bone, a few legs and the occasional spine, there is another option for Jedis at TRF.

Holla back girl.

Hey, no pain no gain, right?

So what's the option? :)

This is the part where you provide contact information and the board at large no longer exists.

You have an interesting, troubling biography.

So should I delete it, contact someone to help work it out, and then repost later on?

No no, it's fine.

Here's the thing.

Your biography is interesting , and it's obvious that you know how to develop a character and are a good writer, and a wonderful addition to TRF.

However.

Your personality as noted in yuor biography is... incompatible... with my methodology and philosophy. After reading it, you're a much, much better fit for the traditional, Naboo based school of Jedi, which is unfortunate for me because I salivate at the prospect of a new, true, blue apprentice. But ultimately, it's probably better for everyone else, not the least of all you, to just give Silus a poke and follow him on his merry way.

Damn.

Oh, whew, you scared me there!

But yes, that is a pity, even if I don't know exactly what your methodology and philosophy is.

In most other RPGs, Tatane has left the Order and is, in a way, eager to learn ways of both the light and dark side so that she may see from all perspectives. However, I thought I'd rewind and stop at padawan so that I could work my way up to Jedi Knight, rather than just begin there. From here, though, her personality will most likely turn out differently than in other RPGs.

And thank you for the comments. At first I was a bit intimidated by this forum, but now I'm not so sure what I was worried about. Everyone here has been welcoming and, even as a new player, I don't feel horribly out of place.

Well, depending on your past history

1) you could maybe submit some samples of your past writing, training threads, things of that nature, and we could possibly consider you for the position of knight. When people have past RP experiences and fully developed characters we have, on occaision, considered their level of writing ability and experience and then given them their old rank on a provisional basis. In that eventuallity your character would be more... compatible... to my form of training.

2) just keep doing what you're doing. If you don't mind reliving some of your history, don't let me stop you. Silus is probably a better writer then I am and definitely here more often, so chances are he's a better bet for your character no matter what you do.

Anyway, don't be intimidated by the forum. It's big, and black, and it has lots of buttons, but really, the people are often insane, indescipherable, and untranslateable. If you do your best to ignore the random bouts of insanity, it's actually kinda fun.

I have no problem with reliving my past, and I have a dark jedi character that I may add later on, when and if Tatane herself ever becomes a part of the story, etc.

So I guess that leads to my next question - is it allowed to have more than one character?
