Hey, owners of the new expansion pack,

I've been looking at wiki/wookie about the ships and units in the game, and some of the new ones look really sweet. I was wondering if you all could tell me the approximate sizes (compared to an ISD) of the Aggressor-class Destroyer, the Keldabe battleship, and the Vengeance, as well as their combat abilities (Aggressor and Keldabe vs. ISD, you pick for the vengeance).

Thanks,

Kach.

Never finished the original, probably won't pick up the expansion pack. Company of Heros is too good.

Sizes in the game itself are somewhat mixed up, so I don't know if it's possible to get good stats for them. For example, the Broadside-class Missile Cruiser was designed by the programmers & gameplay team to be roughly 60 meters, like the Guardian or Warden Light cruisers used by ISB. However, officially, the Broadside is 500 meters long according to starwars.com.

The main reason I asked about sizes was on wookiepedia there's a pic of an Aggressor next to an Introdictor, and they appear about the same size, yet Rob, on AIM, told me that an Aggressor is larger than an ISD.

WTF?!!!

I have FoC, I will take a snapshot of an ISD and an Aggressor next to each other.

An Aggressor is smaller.

I'd like to see it. I'm not going either way at this point because I haven't seen all the evidence.

The Corruption ships are nice for the game, but I don't think they mesh well with the rest of the canon.

Corruption vessels were supposed to be of lesser quality... black market stuff... but the game has balance issues, and the Corruption ships blast most large Imperial ships.

I've never played EaW, but I did see the expansion was coming out and debated picking up both the game and the expansion. Would it be worth my time/cash?

Nah. Theres far better strategy games out there. Homeworld 2 for space, Company of Heros for land.

Guys, you should know by now not to rely on games to stick to the canon or have any semblance of accuracy.
