Name/Model: TIE/ss Schutzstaffel
Developer/Manufacturer: Sienar Fleet Systems
Combat Designation: Medium-range multi-purpose fighter
Crew: 1 pilot
Propulsion System: SFS P-s5.6 Twin Ion Engines (175 KTU)
Speed Rating: 180 MGLT
Maneuverability Rating: 150 DPF
Weapons: Six forward-firing SFS P-s9.3 Laser Cannons, 1 multi-purpose warhead launcher (6 torpedoes or 4 missiles max)
Hyperdrive: 1.2x
Shields/Armor: Forward/rear projecting Novalex Shields (60 SBD); Titanium Hull with Quadranium Steel armored Solar Panels
Development History: The final ship designed specifically designed for the Imperial SS, Sienar didn't have an extraordinary task before them. The techs took the same style hull they had used for the Hurrikane and shrunk it, making it smaller in order to accommodate the single pilot. The engines and shields still fit directly behind the cockpit, and the sensor and communications equipment are still located in the nose. The big difference between this fighter and the Hurrikane, besides the lack of a rear turret, is the six laser cannons in the wings and the Interceptor-style solar panels. The other difference is that there is only one warhead launcher, located under the nose of the craft.
