TFE R&D #3(HA-RT)
Heavy Attack Repulsor Tank
Length: 30m
Designer: Researchers on Gernon(moon, orbiting Farquak)
Crew: 8
Troops: 20
Shape: Sphere
Weapons: 2 Heavy Particle Cannons(turreted), 1 Anti-Infintry Cannon, 2 Double Laser Cannons(turreted), 1 Retracting Repeating Blaster Cannon
Firing Arc/Positioning:
Heavy Particle Cannons: On the direct bottom, 360 Degree Firing
Angle(180 each)
Anti-Infantry Cannon: Front Only, exact middle between the Heavy Particle Cannons and the viewport(On joint to lower aim and fire at infantry)
Double Laser Cannons: Side by Side, Absolute Top, can fire up and each one has a 180 degree turret (designed for anti-starfighter or airspeeder duty)
Retracting Repeating Blaster Cannon: Beside Anti-Infantry Cannon
Shields: 100 SBD
Hull: 75 RU
Speed: 100km/h (hovers ten meters above ground on usual attack runs.
In areas of heavy forest, or if one needs to get somewhere faster, it can achieve a flight ceiling of 50km above the ground. When traveling way above the normal height, the HA-TR usually engages it’s ion engine, to achieve as speed of 180km/h.
History:
The Heavy Attack Repulsor Tank, HA-RT for short, was designed for long range combat. It uses repuslors to fly, though on the back there is an ion engine, engaged if the HA-TR need to get somewhere fast, and it is significantly higher then the normal 10m above ground attack mode. In a combat situation, the HA-RT will be deployed first, to wipe out a lot of the enemies and a long distance away, while the rest of the defenses, usually SD-10 Battle Droids, AT-ST, AT-ATs and Speeder Bikes, deploy, and move in for close range combat. The Heavy Attack Repulsor Tank is the key to every long range defense or assault in the Farquak Empire.
Note for Lup: In realizing you don’t want 100 word R&Ds, I made sure this was like 300, give or take 10.
