Class – Rejuvenator-class Star Destroyer is a state of the art warship utilizing the latest in technology and design practices. The weapons systems are geared towards a variety of tactical situations making the Rejuvenator-class one of the most well rounded starships in the galaxy.
Designation - The Rejuvenator is designed as a true Battlecruiser offering far superior speed over other ships of its size and class.
Dimensions - The Rejuvenator is based on the Original Imperial Mk II-class. It resembles it closely but has many changes in design and power. The length of the ship is longer at 1,950 meters as is the width at 1,100 meters. The height is substantially less at 550 meters as the Rejuvenator-class dose not have as much upper super structure than its predecessor.
Crew (low) – Using advancements from the New Republics new-class modernization program the crew complement of the Rejuvenator-class is relatively small when compared to other vessels its size. In total (10,500) crew make up the standard crew complement of the vessel. (840) officers maintain that the crew is properly guided and lead. Each shift has one Officer of the Watch who is in command of that shift and responsible for it and its actions and morale. Sub Officers run the teams and stations of the vessel. These Officers are responsible for maintaining and commanding their station and its crew. (1,400) Midshipmen work with sub officers to keep the crew in line and productive. (640) flight Operations crewmen operate and maintain the three hangers as well as act as back up damage control teams when needed. (420) Gunners man the various weapons systems of the class.(7,200) crew make up the non-commissioned offers of the class. These crew members carry out all operations aboard the vessel ranging from fire control to food preparation. The vessels runs on (3) ten hour shifts giving the crew twenty hours of recreation and training time then ten hours of on shift time. During condition yellow two shifts will be on hand for assistance and operations redundancy. When at Condition red al three shifts are active working tandem to make sure nothing is missed, overlooked or improperly done. Room is set aside on deck forty five for guest accommodations. (100) suites can accommodate up to (400) passengers. Ten Dignitary suites are set aside for transporting visiting VIP's Each VIP suite has its one staff of (5) Midshipmen and (4) Security troopers
Power (high) – (2) SFS I-a2b solar ionization reactors, like the ones developed for the Bakura-class, run parallel from the hanger area to the aft of the ship. Each having it's own Solar Ionization dome. This smaller variant of the original developed for the Imperial Mk II-class yields far less power but working in tandem the two have a power output almost thirty percent that of the Imperial Mk II=class.
Propulsion (medium) – Ten ion Engines make up the main thrust bank of the Rejuvenator-class. Two reactors give the class a much higher thrust, acceleration (8 MGLT/s) and speed (70/24 MGLT) rating than other vessels of its class. Advanced thrusters give the Rejuvenator-class a respectable maneuvering (6 DPF) rate. While it suffers like other large warships it can turn rapidly for a vessel of its size. utilizing a class 2.0 hyperdrive makes the Rejuvenator slower in hyperspace then most of its modern counterparts. Emphasis was placed on devoting the power and space needed for faster classes of motivators to weapons and other more tactical systems. A relatively fast class 8.0 back-up hyperdrive was installed in case of main motivator problems.
Armor/Hull (high) – Built to the basic blueprints of the Imperial Mk II-class the Rejuvenator-class uses state of the art design concepts and materials to far exceed the original Imperial Design. Ferrocarbon Condensed Matter Composite alloy make up the newly reworked frame design. While nearly identical to the original the frame of the Rejuvenator class it nearly three time as strong. Basic Durasteel makes up the inner hull layer to the extensive armor on the Rejuvenator-class. A triple layer of Neuduraquad alloy armor is placed along the armor bands and outer hull giving the class a far stronger armor rating at 3,600 RU, than the Imperial-class.
Shielding (high) – Redesigned shielding replaces the original dome emitters of the original Imperial-class. The two recessed sensor domes which not sit whee the Imperial class emitters now only houses the sensor equipment. The shielding is not supplied by fifty Delphus Shield Projectors producing 7,200 SBD of shielding.
Cargo capacity (low) – The lower holds of the class can house and carry fifty five thousand metric tons of cargo ranging from tanks to commercial goods.
Consumables (medium) – The Rejuvenator carries supply's and goods to support its mission for up to ten years.
Complament (medium) – Operating in independent actions in most cases the Rejuvenator has a mix of attack craft suited for any operation needed to be carried out. (36) T-65E-BD2 x-wing starfighters and (36) SE S14 Hammerhead Air Superiority Fighters makes up the main attack force of the Rejuvenator-class vessels. (12) Bantha Assault Shuttles, and a mix of (12) smaller shuttle craft make up the support wing of Rejuvenator-class vessels. Designed as a space combat vessel the Rejuvenator-class carry only (1) regiment (1,600 troopers) for security purposes. Any operations where large amounts of troops are needed will find the Rejuvenator-class assisted by other vessels with larger troop capacity. Devoting room normally used to house troops, the Rejuvenator makes room for a second reactor system to power the heavier weapons, shields, and systems load required by the vessel.
Weapons (medium high) – (12) octuple heavy barbettes house two Vengeance quadra quad heavy turbolaser batteries each. These operate like other quadra weapons, working in selectable fire patterns for longer ranged fire or short ranged wide dispersion effect fire. Optional linking of the weapons system gives the quadra systems the ability to engage any target from fighters to dreadnaughts. Utilizing a new placement design giving al twelve barbettes a full two hundred and seventy degree firing arch allows the Rejuvenator class to bring all of its weapons to bear on the forward arch. (6) Vengeance quadra quad heavy turbolaser turrets aid in heavy long ranged fire support. These weapons are housed amidships on the dorsal and ventral hull. (6) quad heavy ion cannons give the class an impressive ion weapons load out. These weapons systems are located along the brim of the vessel three on each flank. Adding to the already impressive offensive weapons systems of the Rejuvenator-class are (40) heavy torpedo octet turrets. Each houses eight heavy projectiles and can swivel two hundred degrees from aft to fore to aid in targeting. Each loader must zero into home position to be reloaded before firing again. These weapons systems are located on the aft most section of the rim flanks. (14) quad turbolaser cannon turrets are arranged over the dorsal and ventral hull for engaging frigates and smaller faster vessels. (4) quad turbolaser cannon turrets flank the central rim hangers on both port and starboard flanks. (20) double ion canons are arranged along the flank rim edges to aid in disabling shields and smaller vessels. (20) quad laser cannons work as defensive screen from attack craft and incoming projectiles. These weapons systems are arranged over the hull giving the vessel a full three hundred and sixty degree defensive screen. (12) tractor beam projectors capture and hold smaller vessels and aid in recovery of attack and support craft.
