Description:
This specialized Recon Drone was originally designed and created for the purpose of exploration. The design was later updated and greatly enhanced when it was deemed necessary to locate, track, and infiltrate the space of Stellar Enterprise's enemies. It was mostly used as a sort of defensive unit since it gave the corporation advanced warning on enemy fleet gathering and preparations.

Its stealthy design almost completely disipates enemy sensor emitions, while keeping its own senor unit emissions to a minimum. For the sensative senors and scanners to operatate optimally the hull of the drone was created from a strong Carbon fiber mesh. This hull feature made it possible to keep all sensor internalized and free from the scattering affects of other alloy hulls. It also dramatically decreased the craft's weight while not sacrificing its hull integrity and strength.

The Ion Shutters were fitted to disperse most of the ion emmisions given off from the engines making the ship much harder to track. These shutters, however, are limited in that they only disguise the EagleEye while its moving at low speeds. As soon as the craft accelerates beyond a certain limit the ion exhaust overwhelms the shutters. This in turn causes the drone to be more easily located.

A booster was also later added for quick escapes if needed. The low mass of the EagleEye drone made its acceleration quicker than most fighters in service. With its onboard storage of 10 hyperspace jump points ment the craft had the ability to make very quick escapes if it was located.

Another major point is that these drones tend to travel in three's. They have the ability to bond together in a horizontal triaginal pyramid and travel as one unit. They all share information among themselfs and their sophisticated droid brains are able to analyze the data and come up with plans on how to better execute their mission.
