Shield: 150 SBD (Energy) 10 SBD (Solid/ Torps)

Components: 2 gungan energy dischargers (One on each side of the cockpit)
1 Gungan energy syphone (At the nose of the ship)
4 under water ballast with stored oxygen.
Weapons: 2 under water perpeller powered torpedos.
There is a 25% Speed reduction with the use of the shield.
Normal: 110 MGLT
adjustment with Module:
In space: 88.5 MGLT
In water: 60 MGLT
(The two energy dischargers are 5 meters in length and 5 meters in width Stuck towards the back of the craft near the engines.
The Shield discharger is 5 meters in length and has a width of 4 meters.
That fits the 13 meter length for the module and it makes it pratical to use.)
The Sheild module takes advantage of the Gungan organic shield Technology that can take a significantly larger amount of energy type damage before over-loading. The draw back ot the gungan sheilds is that they do relatively little to stop solid objects from passing through it.
The shield works by firing energy through a syphon that bubbles around the ship. The electro static field would seem to have an fatal flaw in the fact that it would take far to much power to use pratically on a fighter craft. Well that problem was rather easiely solved. Gungans already use their electro-static field generators on smaller scales for the smaller bubble compartments of Otta gunga. The shield prevents fluid matter from entering the city. Well all that the larger troop shield generator needed to be properally used is a way to maximise the out put. By useing two sepparate energy dischargers the shield can be created by combining the energys from the two generators to reach the proper output to generate the force field.
In order to use the shield with out larger energy drawbacks that would be too much more then a conventional fighter shielding there was a limit put on how much out put the shield can maintain. With the amount that it is alotted the gungan shield can only stop energy weapons but not concusive energies or torpedos. The field is strong enough to withstand fluid matter giving the shield generator a duel purpose.
Because of the nature of the shield that was developed originally to regulate under water pressure. The shield can be used for the secondary purpose of turning the Aethersprite-7 into a submersable craft. The shield regulating pressure so that the fighter can travel in the air or in the sea.

Gungan shields can be adapted for smaller uses becuase of the following:
" The Gungans cut down on the amount of power needed for effective shielding by limiting the shield's penetration threshhold to a level that stops coherent energy (such as blaster bolts or energy-sheathed projectiles), but not solid matter; or, in the case of Otoh Gunga, the shields will stop fluids from entering, but not solid bodies (one has to wonder why the city isn't full of wayward fish that accidentally swim through, though...perhaps the city's shields will only admit bodies of a mass roughly equivalent to that of the average Gungan). By limiting a shield thusly, its effectiveness is diminished in one way, but since it uses so much less power than normal, its generator can be kept to a manageable size, making it viable for ground combat applications."
By limiting the amount of energy used I can maintain a shield that can stop large amounts of energy and fluid matter like water. But not large amounts of concusive energy or solid matter such as Torpedos.
