Heretic Hyperspace Torpedo

This weapon is a completely new torpedo of its kind. It uses a Hardened Cortosis Core and Bio-Plasmatic Warhead for maximum penetration that the warhead technology came from Galaxy Gun missile but on a far smaller scale. The weapon has no manuevering or drive thrusters. Also it has fighter-based hyperdrive and nav computer has been placed in the fuel and drive space. The weapon is delivered in a number of ways. Most often placed on modified bombers used by the New Coalition but there would be changes about multiple torp launchers removed and replaced by a bracket which can hold one of these weapons. This weapon can be modified on any fighter. The Fighter lines up with the target at a distance outside the targets weapons and releases the hyperspace torps they then engage their hyperdrives and slam into the target at hyperspace speeds. Though very effective this weapon is highly effected by interdictor fields. Other methods of delivery are external pods mounted on larger gunships and corvettes or capital ships. It will make damage of 100m radius and can go through any own shielding there is in the galaxy. This weapon is quite deadly when you make ships into swiss cheese around the enemy ship's hull.

The torpedo casing is coated with sensor-baffling materials and is equipped with highly advanced masking system. New sensors will be updated on the host vessel that carries these hyperspace torpedoes that if it detects a interdictor fields, it will sound an alarm back to the pilot or crew of a fighter or ship to not fire it at the enemy with a interdictor fields on. Its size is 20% larger than a Capital Proton Torpedo.

This system houses the targeting / tracking equipment, Power Core, Autoloader, and coolant system needed to fire the Heretic Torpedo.

Ammo varies from vessel type to vessel type
