Description

The Manticore System patrol craft was designed to operate in all manner of military situations, making it tactically able to tackle any military situation as required, making this not just a SPC but an all round tactical capital ship. The small fighters on board are added to the powerful shipboard complement to act as added anti-starfighter or fighter bomber roles. The Miy'Til Fighter and Hetrinar Fighter bomber were designed to be used in the tandem with this ship. Although designed to handle all aspects of a system defence system, which would have a starfighter defence complement, the extra fighters, if not Miy'Tils or Hetrinars, are expected to be used as special groups such as fast intercept or Starship hunters.

The Manticore craft was designed after a number of foreign policy incidents in which a smaller response craft was needed. The Manicore was already on the drawing boards and was spotted as being perfect for the project. Thus the ship was enlargened and equiped with the best Hapan and foreign technology available. Thus the Manicore was born. Its many roles include:
-System Patrol and Defence
-Anti Piracy
-Anti Smuggling
-Customs Vessel
-Light system Gunboat
-Diplomatic tool
-Low-Medium grade Fleet Vessel

R&D Time:
