Hyperdrive: Navsat microjump 3 Hypredrive - The development of the Navigational Hypermarkers and the Navsat Hyperdrives ushered in an era of discovory for the Chiss. The small Bouies make it possible for a vessel to jump without fear of any miss calculations in the Hyperdrive system. The limited hyperspace technology of the Chiss was once a curse but now allows the Chis ships to make small microjumps without having to take the time to plot a course or wait for a hyperdrive to charge up. The class 3 Hyperdrives are slower than their Known space counterparts but are fare more precise and need no computer to plot courses. This also allows the vessel to make short microjumps in a tactical situation. This tactic proves very effecting in battle and is used as a main frequently in battle.
Speed: Low. The mass and power of the Krissii make it a slow moving craft. it is mean to support small vessels and fighters in attacks on larger targets. The large main Ion drive is Housed in the aft of the main body.
Maneuverability: Medium. A combination of advanced thrusters and the slow nature of the Krissii make it more maneuverable than many craft in its class. Small thrust nozzles are located in 4 sets of Thrust pods places along the body of the Craft. A set of thrust pods is also mounted on the Wing pods.
Armor: Heavy. Because of the slow speed and size of the Krissi it is a easy target for faster moving interceptor craft. The hull is lined with triple armor and all main systems are encased in their own armored pods and set internally in another armored section of the hull. The weak wing section have been covered in a mesh tritanium to help strengthen the wings.The mix of cellulose and tritanium work together to give the Krissii an average hull rating of 50 RU
Shields: Moderate. As shields go the Krissi's 4 LD-30 Shield Projectors can work alone or in tandem to give the craft four levels of protection. These shield generators can all be adapted to project in any direction. generally the Krissii will use two projectors with the shields centered giving her a shield strength of 120 SBD all four can be engaged to give the craft a shield rating of 240 SBD but this is at a price to power and speed.
Weapons: Very High. The true power of the Krissii is in the Pods on each wing. These pods contain 4 Missile Launch tubes. Internally the pods contain an armored case for a small payload of missiles. Generally the load out is 6 Concussion missiles and 10 Charge Energy Net Missiles. But any form of missile can be launched from the Pods. In addition the Krissii had a twin Mazor Cannon mounted to the dorsal underside of the Main hull. This large mount can be a problem for almost any target. Final the wings are fitted with twin Charric Cannons. These disruptor type weapons cause damage both with heat and energy like the standard laser. they also cause some degree of kinetic damage as the disruptor field acts as a small projectile when fired and when striking a target.
Sensors: A full sensor suite is installed which runs off a standard RF scan and a feed from NavSats spread out over the sector. It can hide behind a small rock or debris and fire indirectly at its targets using the NavSat up-link. This drastically increases the crew survivability and aids in maintaining a secretive and almost ominous myth of the Chiss alive.
Countermeasures: Two flare pods are placed on either side of the main ion Exhaust. They have a payload of 20 flares each. In addition another flare pod is installed on the top of the main hull just forward of the twin atmospheric stabilizers. A pair of small drones fit under each wing next to the main hull. These drones are programmed to track incoming missiles and intercede between the missile and the Krissii. They are very effective in this task but can only be used twice since the drone is destroyed when destroying the missile. Two Chaff pods are installed on the aft of the Wing pods. Each Pod has 6 chaff charges.
Development History: The Krissii is the latest in a long line of Chiss heavy Fighters. The hull is much like the fighters Thrawn used so many years ago to destroy the outbound flight mission. This latest design is purely a Lash Designs draft. After his expulsion from the ascendancy Lash began developing new technology and working to aid the people of the Elysi Sector.
