Description: After the success of the Hauler Class Automated transport, Stellar Enterprises embarked on a mission to design and produce a light class freighter that could compete in the vast market for such ships. With the danger of trade routes, it was decided to arm the freighter with more weapons and give it enough armor and shields to escape most situations. The engines on the freighter were also upgraded to give the ship increased speed and a higher chance of survival.

To compete on the price front, the Human Class offers everything the competition does and more at lower prices. These prices are kept down through the use of existing technologies, such as ones from the Hauler class. Acquisition of Atgar spacedefense and Oriolanis Defense Systems provides Stellar Enterprises with weapons systems and shields at much lower prices and in turn these lower prices cut down the whole cost of the freighter.

As with the Hauler class this freighter was designed in a modular design that would produced in ground based factories. This design allows for great customization of the freighter to meet the needs of any customer. The weapons systems and shields could easily be replaced and upgraded should the need arise. Engines and electronics fall into the same catagory and are all made to be easily replaced, repaired or changed out for newer more powerful models.

Since the Human class is a freighter, it was designed with that in mind and give more cargo space than many ships of its size. This cargo space is provided by two large compartments situated port and starboard. Each one can be unloaded from either the rear, front, or both sides of the ship. The front and rear center sections of the freighter house specialized cargo doors that allow for large containers to easily fit inside the freighter and also house movable clamps that help to grab cargo and pull it inside the ship. Movement of cargo to and front the craft is easily accomplished with the use of two light tractor beam projectors which allow the ship to pretty much load itself without the need of loading droids.

To help with the procedure the interior of the Human class has been fit with a movable rack system attached to the ceiling. This system is split in to two parts with one such movable rack going to the port side cargo hold and the other rack moving to the starboard one. Once the tractor beams pull a container into the forward or rear loading area, clamps descend from the ceiling and grab hold of each one before moving it along a rail system towards the cargo hold and stack the contains in such a way as to maximize the ships cargo space. Special computer programs help the systems quickly determine the stacking order to attach the best results. With these systems working together the Human class can be loaded and unload in record time even with just one or two crew members present.

Living quarters and such have been built into the top portion of the ship behind the command cockpit. These quarters are modular and can be designed to a customers specifications if they wish something different that a standard layout. Everything from living quarters and a sitting area to entertainment rooms and exercise facilities are included in the vessel. Stellar Enterprises wanted the Human class to be a comfortable vessel on those long voyages or even capable of being lived out as some merchants tended to do.

A prototype as been displayed at some trade shows and has received positive reviews. Because of this the design has been put into production state and will soon be on the market.
