Design Specifications: The Night Caller, a ship that served in both the Navies of Warlord Zsinj, and the New Republic, is an upgraded CEC Corvette, ordered that way from the shipyards, that has several different noticable changes. The Lower sections of the Hammerhead Command Pod, space that used to be reserved for Diplomatic Guests, and luxury quarters, has been hollowed out, and replaced by a hangar bay that has capacity to carry a number of Imperial Starfighters. Because of the cramped space, the following amount of starfighters can be carried: because of the height of their Solar Panels, only four of the TIE Fighter, and TIE Defender may be carried, whereas, becuase of the smaller height of their Solar Panels, up to eight TIE Interceptors, Advanceds, or Bombers may be carried. In other cases, up to eight New Republic Starfighters may be carried. Moving aft, the lower dual Turbolaser cannon has been replaced by a heavy duty Tractor Beam Projector. From there, the escape pods have been replaced by launching racks for up to 4 additional TIE Series Starfighters only, due to the way the pilots enter, and exit the vehicles, with the large NR canopies being too big for this capacity. These are the modifications that have been made to make the normal CEC Corvette into a Pocket Carrier of sorts.
