Special Equipment:
Elite – class Anti-Missile Defence System
Diversity Composite

Cren Munitions Self-Destruct Mechanism
This is not a true self-destruct mechanism in the sense that they usually are, a device to destroy the entire ship. Rather it it’s a device that will cause small, controlled explosions to happen across the ship in key places. These include weapons positions, the reactor and the engines. All Elite – class Anti-Missile Defence System emplacements are destroyed and so is the Graviton Detector. Shield generators and non-standard communications are also destroyed (so radionics set and laser-line-of-sight unit). As well each and every computer is wiped, then re-wiped and written over with the scripts for holodramas from the Empire. At that point a small explosions occurs in each computer, destroying them. In this way no highly sensitive information or technologies will be given over to the Empire. And, if it is possible, the Coalition could go back and pull out the ship, mostly intact, requiring only some minor refits compared to building an entirely new ship. As well it is possible to limit the area that this is done in. Therefore if an enemy boards than the commander of the ship can destroy the computers in the area and the weapon emplacements (if needed) without destroying all of the stuff on the ship. The Self-Destruct system runs off of its own power, with a separate generator and electrical circuit, so even if the enemy manages to knock out the Defender Ion Shields and get past the Diversity Composite then the ship can still use its self-destruct system, to prevent it from falling into enemy hands completely intact.
Cren Munitions Anti-Intruder System
This is also different from most Anti-Intruder Systems. While most are made up of an impressive array of laser traps, grav traps and other devices the Cren Munitions version concentrates more on using actual troops and blockade methods. Each hallway has blast doors situated every 20m which can be used to lockdown any breach. These blast doors once closed are magnetically sealed, making it impervious to most weapons, including lightsabers. Once the enemy troops are trapped small holes can be opened in the walls to pump in knockout gas, generally Sleeper Agent 05, but other gasses and chemicals can be used. As well it is possible to open some of the outer corridors to vacuum, thereby clearing out any unwanted intruders not equipped with special equipment like magnetic boots. There are retractable E-web grade heavy blasters hidden in the walls, ceilings and floors of the magnetically sealed corridors, capable of popping out for a few short seconds, firing off multiple shots before retracting again. Because the walls, floors and ceilings are magnetically sealed the shots don’t have to be accurate, they will simply bounce back and forth until they impact on someone or something. This, obviously, will not be used when there are Coalition troops in the corridor.
Also used in protection of the ship are a limited number of accesses to key areas (such as the centreline of the ship, the hangar, reactor, engines, bridge, auxiliary bridge, frontal area of the bow near missile launchers). This is done by limiting the number of routes leading to these places, by ending up with 1 route leading to each of the follow: bridges, reactor, engines and hangar, with other routes joining up with these. As well these routes have magnetically sealed blast doors and walls, giving them added protection. For the centreline protection is added by having one corridor going the entire way around the ship, the whole way, with limited numbers of corridors attached to this corridor and with more blast doors situated in it. As well the walls of this main corridor would be magnetically sealed. Similar measures would be taken for the frontal area of the bow, cutting off that area from the rest of the ship, allowing only a few access ways. To protect the other weapon emplacements there are blast doors preventing access into turrets and weapons areas.
Cren Munitions Destructor – class General Purpose Projectile Launchers
Each launcher has 20 missiles immediately available for its use. These include 12 Cren Munitions Advanced Concussion Missiles, 3 Cren Munitions Advanced Diamond Boron Missiles, 2 Cren Munitions “Sleeper” Harpoons and 2 Cren Munitions Sonic Missiles.
Cren Munitions Advanced Concussion Missiles: These are newly designed missiles that can be fired from pretty much any concussion missile launchers (advanced, heavy, normal, etc.) which has the same payload of the standard advanced concussion missile but has an increased speed.

Cren Munitions Advanced Diamond Boron Missiles: These are standard Diamond Boron Missiles except they are produced by Cren Munitions. Currently Cren Munitions is experimenting in new missiles designs using ideas from the Diamond Boron Missile.
Cren Munitions “Sleeper” Harpoons: These look like standard Cren Munitions Advanced Concussion Missiles and travel at the same speed as them. However their payload is quite different than that of a normal missile. They are equipped with a super powered plasma torch on the front, which will fire into a ships hull, damaging it before the missile impacts, punching through the weakened armour and ending up with its “nose” inside the corridor or room (wherever it hits). The nose will then explode releasing an extremely powerful knockout gas named “Sleeper Agent 05” which will nock out any and all known species in a matter of seconds (3 seconds for average human). Sleeper Agent 05 will also spread throughout the ship in the immediate area. However it is ineffective against shields and will generally be used after the shields have been brought down but just prior to a boarding.
Cren Munitions Sonic Missiles: These are quite similar to standard Cren Munitions Advanced Concussion Missiles, although they travel at a slightly slower speed than them, instead traveling at the speed of a normal concussion missile. Their payload is different than that of a normal missile. They are equipped with a sonic warhead, which is unaffected by ray or particle shields and is quite effective against the hull of a vessel. The missile travels forward and impacts on the ships particle shield, causing a little damage, but not too much. However the sonic warhead than explodes, creating blast wave that travels, unimpeded by the shields, to impact on a ships hull, causing severe damage. While the Cren Munitions scientists originally wanted to have the missiles given diamond boron plating, it was deemed to expensive and costly, so that idea was dropped, at least for now (OOC: plus that just wouldn’t be fair).

Emanon Computing Advanced Targeting Computer
This is one of the most advanced targeting computer systems used in the Galactic Coalition. It has different varieties, so that each type of weapon (anti-starfighter, missile, anti-capital ship) has its own specialized targeting computers. These are capable of locating the weakest spot in an enemy’s shields, and then do pinpoint attacks on it. As well, the gunner can select a target, say a certain spot on the hull, or a weapons emplacement, and the weapon will immediately fire directly on it. This allows for extremely accurate and effective missile volleys and heavy beam weapon volleys. Furthermore the gunner is capable of using visual sensors to select a spot on the ship to target. This allows the weapons to target enemy ships, even if targeting computers are being jammed. Also the computer has a direct hook-up with the Graviton Detector mk. I onboard the vessel and is capable of receiving information directly from that, allowing the co-ordinates where a ship is located to be put in the computer. The gunners can manually insert co-ordinates to be targeted in the computer if needed, though this would probably be a final resort tactic.
Each weapon has its own Emanon Computing Advanced Targeting Computer, however they can easily be tied together in groups. For extra efficiency and power these targeting computers can be grouped together, so that multiple guns are going for the exact same spot on a ship. This would overload an enemy ship’s shields, allowing a large amount of energy to go on and strike the hull. If the shots are correctly aimed that it would even be possible to destroy the enemy’s main weapons.

ATS: Anti-Targeting System
The Anti-targeting system is designed to cast a field 100 km out to disrupt any signals being sent to gather computerized target locks. Typically, targeting computers derive their object targets based on data gathered in concert with standard ship's sensor package or independent signal casting device. The field of ATS disrupts those incoming signals by offsetting/reflecting the data back to it's origin. The result being wrong targeting data being received (the farther away the more off track) which would result is less positive (or less critical) strikes.

Description:
Another one of the new vessels being introduced by the Galactic Coalition Research and Development working with a variety of Galactic Coalition companies, the Dominator – class Heavy Battle Cruiser is one of the larger ships in use by the Galactic Coalition, the only ones larger at the moment are the command ships of approximately 6000 metres being used across the Coalition. As such, it can and will be used as a command ship in areas where a larger ship is not available.
The Dominator is designed in a diamond shape, meaning that the centreline going from the port side to the starboard side is the highest point on the ship. The Galactic Coalition took advantage of this and created one of the most powerful ships in its arsenal. All of the heavy beam weapons to be used against an enemy capital ship are spread out along the centreline, spread around the entire ship, top and bottom. This means that all of the guns can fire forwards and backwards, half can fire up and half can fire down. Half can fire to port and half can fire to starboard. Combined with the Emanon Computing Advanced Targeting Computer, this means that the Dominator will be able to pour massive amounts of energy in pinpoint strikes against the enemy, a factor which could prove to be decidedly useful in an engagement, perhaps a factor which would be enough to allow a smaller Galactic Coalition force to destroy a larger Imperial one.
The bridge of the Dominator is located just below the security corridor used to access the heavy weapons emplacements. The main viewport is facing the bow, but there are smaller viewports facing to port, starboard and aft. The Auxiliary Bridge is located deep within the ship, as is the reactor. The ship was designed this way so that even if the primary bridge fell, it would be a lot more difficult for the enemy to access the reactor and auxiliary bridge, either through boarders or weapons fire.
The Dominator was designed to be a frontline attack and command vessel for the Coalition. It is the opposite of the Second Wave ships, sacrificing speed for heavy shields and weapons. It is designed to go in front of a fleet and pound away at the enemy fleet, while in return taking a beating and surviving that beating. It is expected to perform quite well in that regard and it will be a ship soon to be spread across the Coalition. Currently there are only four ships of this type constructed, the Dominator, Tyrant’s Bane, Guardian and Galactic. However multiple more are under construction at the hidden shipyard facilities of CN-1344 with more planned for construction at shipyard facilities across the Coalition.
OOC: The numbers may not match up with what is generally considered acceptable (might be low or high but probably are high) however that doesn’t really matter. The point is it has heavy weapons and shields and crap speed, plus smaller troop, ground equipment and onboard craft compliment than most ships its size. So in a fight it won’t be dashing around all over the place like the Longsword Frigate or Claymore Battlecruiser but it will be sitting in front of you pounding you to dust while in return taking a severe beating and surviving undamaged.
Thread to be same as SAB, SSSF and HSV. Post for it will be up either tonight or tomorrow.
