Description
This heavy Battle Cruiser was concieved when the inferiority, size wise, of Hapan ships was discovered compared to its Imperial and Rebel Counterparts. Although 2-3 Nova-class Cruisers could take out a Victory Class, and occasionally an Imperial Class star destroyer, Prince Darksword realised that it would be impossible for Hapes to stand up for itself with any shred of respect, if it were using Imperial Ships. Thus, the Darkstar was made.
With all this in mind, it was realised that should a conflict ever arise, a one on one ship capacity should be available. The Darkstar has a greater speed and maneuverability than both models of Star Destroyer it was intended to combat, both in Hyperspace and Sublight, the grace of this Hapan ship evident outwardly as well as in its engineering.
It also outguns its ISD counterpart turbolaser wise, but lags heavily behing on Ion Cannons. It also matches up equally on Fighter Capacity. Although smaller, this has been made possible due to special Micro-management Engineering techniques. The power source used to power the ship and its weapons and shields are almost clones of those used to power an ISD, yet are smaller, and slightly more efficient. It does have a bonus on the ISD as it is able to easily defend itself from fighters with its lasers and ions spread across the ship.
