Hard Light Holographic System - (HLS)

The hard light holographic system is another ground breaking discovery by Commonwealth scientists. The ability to manipulate and reorganise light particles, (photons) into a temporary solid form is nothing new, it has been around in various forms and guises in many advanced simulations throughout the galaxy.

What makes this system unique is its form of delivery. Utilizing the latest advancements in super-luminal communications (the QETS) , the HLS can be used in many practical ways, but its main function and use would be:

1) For realtime interactive holographical representation.

If someone needs to be somewhere else , instantly, and although they cannot be there in their real physical form, they can be, in a holographical form. Talking and interacting as they would as if they were actually there in person. The real person would use a unique implant , in which they would be able to relay between themselves and their intended 'destination'. This emitter is relayed via the QET system luminally both receiving and also interpereting both the incoming and outgoing data for its user.

This implant would enable its user to see and experience in realtime what its holographical persona is.

To complete this complex information exchange, there must be either a standalone or shared HLS emitter , in the intended target destination.

The benefits for this technology is quite clear, from commanders being able to command a ship from a home base many light years away in realtime, or for a large number of distant delegates to meet and interact in a particular meeting via their Holographical persona's.
