Description:
While the T-wing fighter may be good in fighter-versus-fighter engagements, it is sorely lacking in anti-capital ship weapons. This is where the Starsika comes in. The picket cruiser is intended to support the T-wing in deployment missions, and offers a host of anti-capital ship weapons designed to hurt or knock off enemy capital ships. The Starsika has enough weaponry to engage ships twice her size, and groups of these picket ships can take on even larger enemy opponents.
The ship is roughly cone shaped, with the bridge of the vessel mounted in the forward area. In the amidships area is located the main offensive armament, the turbolaser and ion cannons, one turret each in top, bottom, left, and right portions. Moving back from there, an engine is mounted on each side of the ship, with the forward part of the engine mounting containing a concussion missile launcher. Finally in the rear area of the ship is located a quad laser cannon to knock off enemy starfighters that are pursuing the ship.
The drive core for the vessel is located in the aft section, in between the engines. The crew spaces are located just behind the bridge forward. The Starsika, heavily armed, fast, and with decent protection, is hoped to greatly increase the protection afforded to the Starstriker corporation enterprises.
