General Description: The Warrior II is Rendili StarDrive’s attempt to quietly make a state-of-the-art warship for the Alliance. In an attempt to disguise their involvement with the Alliance, Rendili designed a completely new ship that outwardly resembled the Warrior-class Corvette used extensively in the older days of the New Republic. The new Warrior is exceptionally durable, if somewhat slow compared to other corvettes. It’s armament is primarily missile-based, albeit it carries an extensive autoblasters batteries designed to quickly finish off salvos of missiles and starfighters, as well as Needlebeam Particle Cannons designed to physically destroy specific subsystems on enemy ships.

Technical Descriptions:

Relative Cost: Above Average

Cost: The ship has an above average price tag for its size. This is because of the using of high-end components which are untraceable to Rendili. Other reasons include the abnormal amount of creature comforts within the vessel.

Speed: Below Average

Engines: The Warrior II is slower than most corvettes of its size, the result of completely average military drives being coupled with extremely high amount of armor for a ship its size. The Warrior II is also equipped with auxiliary engines in the form of solar sails flaps built into the armor. These are not a fast propulsion system, but they allow the Warrior to move stealthy and cheaply because the propulsion is completely passive.

Shield Rating: Very High

Shields: Rendili installed two identical sets of top-of-line shield systems, allowing the Warrior to withstand much higher damages than ships its size can typically withstand; particularly combined with its high armor.

Armor: Very High

Armor: The Warrior II has rather thick armor for a corvette, which is probably more equivalent to that used on heavy assault frigates over twice its size rather than the gunship. Internally, the Warrior II has very thick and redundant bulkheads to minimize damage and crew casualties in the case of an enemy attack penetrating through the ship’s thick defences. Warhead bays are actually extremely heavily armored internally so that a detonation in the said magazine will not effect the rest of the ship’s operation.

Weapons: Average

Weapons: The amount and power of the weapons on the Warrior II is completely average for a ship its size. General purpose launchers, capable of launching a variety of warheads, provide most of the ship’s punch along with its versatility. It is also dotted with many fast-tracking autoblasters, which are more than capable of spitting out a large volume of fire (even compared to standard laser cannons) at the cost of shorter range. The most innovative weapon on the Warrior II are its Needlebeam Particle Cannons. Each weapon, about the size of a medium turbolaser, fire an extremely focused and superheated particle beam, which easily pierces through most shields with near impunity to destroy relatively small amounts of a ship’s equipment while leaving the immediate surround area completely undamaged. Thus, in essence, it has the short term effects of an ion cannon (but permanently destroys the target system), albeit it has problems with going through very thick armor.

Complements: Below Average

Complements: The Warrior II has an extremely low complement of support craft, and a lower amount of troopers than even older and smaller designs such as the CR 90. This is because most of the ship’s internal space is occupied by armor as well as redundant and automated systems.
