Yes, it's an old, used question, but we've gotta get this forum kicked off somehow, and what better way than to start with the basics. Soooo, whats your favourite <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Star Wars<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> movie, and why?

Mine has to be <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Return of the Jedi<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, simply because of the scenes on Endor. I think that adding a forest to the trilogy and thus giving <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Star Wars<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> a whole new dimension aside from the space scenes was a really good idea to make an awesom trilogy come to an end.

I'd have to say Return of the Jedi as well, but for a different reason. I liked the battle between Luke and Vader, when Vader sacrificed his life to save his son, and we see that, beneath all the hatred and blood on his hands, Vader really is Anakin Skywalker.

I'd have to say Return of the Jedi.

Endor was a great setting, and the plot was good, though not quite a match for the ESB hanger.

The Empire Stikes Back.

The soundtrack kicks ass, and the bad guys win.

Return of the Jedi.

True not as dark as Empire, but it was dark enough. It gave the Empire more character when we finally got to see the tyrant, manipulative dicatatorship of Palpatine, and how evil he truly was. The plot, like Os said, was good, and the whole story of Father -v- Son, Master -v- Apprentice, Good -v- Evil, all came together to climacticlly bring the trillogy to a close.

I liked them all.... except the Empire Strikes back....

I kind of felt that the Empire Strikes back never really ended... it's like one of those books that at the end say "to be continued..." (which tends to really drive me insane.... escpecially when I'm more or less broke at the time... and therefore can't run out and buy the next book) except it's a movie... which bugs me just that much more...

My favourite is definetly The Empire Strikes Back. The Empire gets an incredible amount of screentime it's unbelieveable. The Battle of Hoth was just excellent, and Boba Fett was great. C-3PO and R2-D2 and Han and Leia steal the show easily with their arguing (more so the droids than the lovely couple). I love C-3PO's screaming when they're on the falcon - I was in hysterics! :)

All of them but I think I liked Return Of The Jedi the best.
