After the first convening of the New Coalition House of Representatives yesterday, a veritible storm of information on policy, radical moves, and interesting developments has been released. Working all out and constantly, the New Coalition government is releasing more information, decisions and changes by the hour. Already, the budget has been dug through and huge savings have been made in hidden pockets to fight the defecit, combined with the recent opening of once-government-only shipyards and construction yards to the public drawing in more money.

The money is also pouring out as fast as they can find it. Massive reconstruction projects for assorted war- and civil-war-damaged zones. Social welfare is being doled out to all kinds who need to get back on their feet. An ambitious project indeed, which is being monitored round the clock by the New Coalition.

Even more exciting is the news that the New Coalition has finished redrafting their constitution. Details are scant at best at this time, however it is believed to focus strongly on the rights of the individual, free speech, none-discrimination and equality, peaceful methods, and well-distributed power. However, very little of this is verified at this time.

None of the chief representatives have been reached for comment at this time, however, they have sent word that this is "The dawn of a new age" for the Coalition and their people, and it should bring "Peace, unity, prosperity, and friendship." Apparently, this New Coalition has dropped most of its' more warlike tendencies for a more understanding, peaceful approach, perhaps due to the coup in which many of the more militant members of the Coalition were killed in action.

No other governments have commented yet on this sudden outburst of activity, however, it is believed they may soon.

On Dorthal a wealthy banker was sitting on the roof of his bank, sipping a drink and reading the latest paper. As he scanned the headlines, he noticed the words "money is also pouring out as fast as they can find it".

"My my," he muttered. "Someone is imploding their government."

He continued reading, a slight bit of interest piqued. There might be a profit here, somewhere.

A press release has been issued from General Grevious, Supreme Commander of the Black Dragon Empire, on Zonama Sekot, located in its hidden sector:

"We welcome the dissolution of the Outer Rim Sovereignty and embrace the new merger of the New Coalition. For years, the Sovereignty has been a war-mongering faction that has caused many problems in the past. For now, the Black Dragon Empire will observe if the New Coalition will adhere to their statements of 'a more understanding, peaceful approach' to all their policies concerning their neighboring factions and will hopefully avoid yet, another conflict in the near future.

Should the New Coalition successfully rise to their feet again, the Black Dragon Empire may be open to negotiate possible trade routes within their Imperium under our direct supervision, seeing that Mon Calamari and Bimmisaari are located near our borders."

That is all.
