I have a question gash? How can your slower Corona Frigates manage to keep up with my much faster gunships and deal out massive amounts of damage?

Ranger Gunship Speed: 30 MGLT

Corellian Gunship Speed: 29 MGLT

Corona Frigate Speed: 20 MGLT.

Can you guess who has the slower ships?

a) I never said your vessels weren't proceeding towards the shipyards. I merely pointed out that my ships were following yours and firing on them.

b) The speed difference is fair, but not enough to warrant the assumption that your ships are instantly out of range when mine are following yours. If that were the case, no slower ship would ever be able to engage a faster one, and battles would be about running around your enemy in one post. You basically rushed right through my line. So I basically made you pay for it.

c) The fact that they are seemingly pouring on the speed and not returning fire or defending themselves warrants the fact that my ships are doing damage. If they are returning fire or defending themselves, they would not be making such hasty progress and your points about speed are negated.

d) You forfeited a round of combat. Much as you decided my ships had not moved a great deal earlier in the roleplay when you broke the rules and posted for a second time in 71.5 hours, the amount of time passed between my posts was not as great as it might of been had you posted talking about how your ships proceeded to my shipyards.

Did I mention shipyards?

I passed your line in your second last post. This is after.

A.

Order the Gunships to begin a flanking maneouver on the Imperial Fleet. They are to proceed past the Imperial Fleet then continue on towards the shipyards.

There are two critical flaws in this argument.

1) I have not advanced time as much as, perhaps, you would like.
2) Passing the line does not make you instantly out of range. Clearly, yes, your ships have passed mine. However, mine are attempting to follow yours and are currently firing on them.
