If this comes about, I will never purchase a copy of windows again. I want the manufacture knowing what I do with a program I purchased about as much as I want my small intestine pulled out of my rear end, and wrapped around my head.

Thing is, most people honestly don't give a @#%$, and will blindly ignore this fact.

Hell, most people won't even know about it.

That's what Microsoft is going to exploit. And for the person who does question it, they'll pass it off as a feature.

The more control over computers and the internet is added, the less hackers and virus-makers there are.

Or, one virus wipes out the internet. Think SoBig...

djx, I run mandrake linux on occasion, however I'm too lazy to try get Wine working so I can use dreamweaver.

That would suck. Microsoft already doesn't let me do enough stuff to Windows as it is because that is being more "user friendly". Now they want to know what I am doing with my limited powers?
