If you guys think Hurricanes are big, well Typhoons make Hurricanes appear small. I was doing a little browsing, and came across a page on the most powerful typhoon ever, a storm named Tip, that had winds of 190 mph, a pressure of 25.69"/870mb, and the size of the storm reached a whopping diameter of 1,350 miles. That would just about cover the western United States. Imagine a storm of that size and intensity hitting Florida, Texas, or New England.

You need to be a weatherman, Harker. You're in the wrong field.

I wonder what would actually happen if a typhoon that size or larger ever actually did hit the United States?
