Aaron Allston and Troy Denning will both be contributing to a 9 book post-NJO series. A third author has yet to be announced.

Each author is writing three out of the nine books. One out of the three will be hardcover and the other two will be in softcover.

The series is scheduled to come out between 2005-2008.

The series is set to take place five years after the NJO Trilogy.

The title to the trilogy is:
Star Wars: Dark Nest
The first book:
The Joiner King
The second book:
The Unseen Queen
The third book:
The Swarm War

I've been to a lot of MBs talking about this, and when the book's titles pop up, almost everybody on the board thinks, Zerg......

I've never read the books.

Are they junk-sci-fi, or are they any good?

Fuck. The next thing SW really needs is another prolonged series chronicalling another major war. The Swarm War? Give me a break...

Bring back the good old days, where a series stopped at three books and actually told a complete story...

Coruscant Nights should be a good read, everyone is saying. Takes place between Episodes 3 and 4.

What I'd like is for them to give the epic plotlines a rest. Let the New Republic establish itself and peace reign, and make do with little stories about Jedi and the wild Outer Rim. Its' a great setting, if they'd stop making it dance on the hot-plate of do-or-die galactic fear.
