Its about these two convicts that escape jail, running from the hounds they duck into a church after stealing a hacksaw. As they hide in a confessional to cut through the chains on their legs, they are mistaken for preists and end up having to assume the roles for a good deal of time to avoid the law. Its one of those stories where they turn good by the end and support the town.
