I have no history with the Transformers TV show. So I have no idea if they murdered the source material or not when they created this kick-ass funfest that centers around giant robots doing really cool stuff and beating the tar out of one another.

Highly recommended.

I have literally just come from seeing the film and I'm so wound up... I'll give a more descriptive run-down later, when I calm down. But... Gods on high; Transformers!

About time I can speak to it with peeps... you know, what with us Australians getting it first and all, days before the rest of the world. ;)

I thought they dragged the comedy scene to much. Everything else was pretty much cannon. I was amazed that we finally got to see how they look in their original form (when the crash landed). Overall... It was more that meets the eye.

It came out one day ahead of the west here.

oh yeah, did anyone notice Soundwave in the movie? I couldnt seem to find him.

Some thought he was the radio robot.
