Ok, who else feels cheated? They wrapped up absolutely NOTHING...

Except for Vaala and Jackson.
Still, i didn't mind it, it was fitting i think.

I'll be honest, I never liked the Farscape peeps on SG-1. I also never warmed to General Landry...
While I liked the getting of new techs, I didn't like the Azguard demise in the beginning.
The only thing that really grabbed my attention was when the story made them age out of time... I thought that put an interesting perspective and then Teal'c having to be the one to remain and show his age..
Would he now be as old as his mentor?
It was a passable episode but not what I would expect as the end finale from the longest SciFi series of all time. I think they should have made it a two hour episode, put more bang in it and still keep the "we will go on as always" ending.
I also would have liked Jack to have made another appearance but oh well..

Yeah, I think the series definitely deserved a two hour finale. I don't mind it, I thought it was a great episode and a good way to end, but I think it needed more time... which is odd, given the premise of the episode, but yeah.
And it needed Jack.

Plus Sam is taking over for Weir on Atlantis.
I thought it was fitting, considering the movies.

they have finished filming two movies and are working on the third at last I checked on SciFi...
and I agree. I wanted to see Jack, even if he was just walking through. I can't see the Azguard demanding certain people be present and ask for Landry but not Jack. Those little guys love Jack!
and they followed their recent pattern of de-sexing Sam and T'ealc in the last few seasons. Fifty years stuck in out of time and neither one of them felt a need to attempt to hook up with anyone? No one was jealous that Jackson and Vala were together while they were alone? And even that ended kinda wonky, in that they didn't remember the hook up and now, in the movies, we have to watch them putter around one another waiting for the hook up again.
I can't believe that Mitchell, as stir crazy as he was, didn't try hitting on Sam...
I did enjoy the humanization they did of Vala in the one scene. No dialoque, just music, and Jackson holding her while she cried. Nicely done. I've noticed alot of people forget just how much bad times Vala had in her life, which is what made her the con artist she was.

I always figured, knowing Vala, eventually they'd show a shot of her and Sam, or her Sam and Daniel.
They did try and take a lot of the lovey dovey Sam away, which was nice since the stuff with Pete didn't really work. Besides, we all know her heart belongs to Jack, and cheating on Jack with his son would be just weird.

Sam will end up with McKay when she journeys to Atlantis, I had a feeling they were setting that up with that alternate universe episode where Hammond was in control of SG1 still.

as much as I'd like to see it happen, I don't think Jack and Sam will ever be together for the simple fact that they are both to valuable to be allowed to retire or leave the military, and Jack will never admit his feelings for Sam as long as they are both military.
That being said, if they hook her and McKay up, I wouldn't mind... I like him :D remember, they were married in the one alternate reality... or at least divorced...
