Anyone else played the latest Need for Speed addition? I rented it, but I don't think I'll be buying it. They've changed the feel of the game too much for me now, especially considering (as far as I've managed to progress) you only race on professional racing circuits - no more street racing, or anything like that.
It's alright, the graphics look pretty good, but I'm just finding it... lacking - in what, I'm not sure. Perhaps I'm just expecting too much from them now, and you can only race 3 different types of races so many times before they're boring, heh.
Also, I'm not too keen on the new style they've brought into the game; the ground-paint artwork is 'eh', but they've based the whole game around the gang-graffiti style and it doesn't have any effect on me, whatsoever.
Personally, I wouldn’t bother wasting money on buying this one. I still think Underground 2 was better, or even Most Wanted, heh. A shame, too – I do enjoy a decent racing game every now and again, but sadly this isn’t it for me.
The only thing they did do right, was making you an up-coming new racer - no more of that 'being top of the game and losing your position, only having to claw back to the top' crap.
