So, Tamara and I watched Quentin Tarantinos' newest film.
What a blast!
In true Tarantino fashion, it packs a dark punch. Rife with black humour counter pointed by some very intense drama and rich, although shallow, characters this is a must see for any Tarantino fan. His portrayal of the war, on all sides, makes it perfectly clear to the viewer that in war there are no good-guys and that everyone, from your most noble war hero to your most depraved sociopath, cannot escape its touch.
On another note the film introduces North American film goers to a host of "new" actors and actresses from Europe while keeping things familiar with the ever loving styles of Brad Pitt.
I won't go in to detail as I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it and plan to. Suffice to say that Beff rates this as a highly recommended must-see!
