Bad move. The author seeks to improve upon an already dynamic speech by adding moderatly interesting text transformations, resulting in a bored audiance. Animation leads expectations to something more visually stimulating than text in interesting shapes. They did an excellent job on the text, but I got bored real quick.
The speech would be far more interesting if I could watch the speaker, and see the intensity of his body language rather than just feel it in his voice. A well-intended video that hurts the message rather than emphasizes it. Unfortunatly.
