Question for the Force Council

Ok, so what the deal is is this: I used to play a Jedi called Adrian Trench, who trained up to Knight-level and managed to achieve that rank, sometime in late 2002. After that I did a few RPs with him and then let him fall inactive, as I lost interest in the character (there’s only so many things you can do with a pacifist Jedi/botanist...well actually I suppose there’s a fair few, but I wasn’t in a particularly creative mood at the time).

So anyway, the other day I had an idea of how I could revitalise him, and started planning a character RP to bring him back/explain his absence/make him more interesting etc. when I hit a small snag, in that one of the plot points revolves around Adrian’s view of his own status as a Jedi Knight. Now, I remember a little while ago when some oldies came back after periods of inactivity and there was a bit of a show an’ fluff regarding resuming the ranks that they formerly held (eg. former Masters being bumped down to Knights, or something).

>>Basically what I’m asking is if Adrian is still a Jedi Knight, or if he’ll have to go through training again. It’s no problem to me either way, as I can fit the story around each eventuality quite easily, but just for planning purposes I felt I should get some sort of official word on rank so that I can make the story play out as smoothly as possible.

But yeah, that’s about it. No rush on this or anything, so take yer time. PM my Chau Ming account if you want to talk privately, as I rarely check this one or sign on to AIM. And thanks Force Council dudes, whoever you are...

Ciao.

Ps. Leia: thought it might be easier to just post here. Thanks for the help earlier :)

Knight it is... tentatively... meaning if your writing has regressed into something resembling jelly stains, we will have no choice but to make you a Sith.

Beware.

If you were in DSOD, that's enough for me.

We'll take a straw poll and come back with the offical results ASAP.

Didn't you wonder why TJO has less members than TSO? It's because they only take good writers with decades of experience under their belt.

Adrian got his arse handed to him by Perrin in that thread, if memory serves.

But other than that he's totally cool. Amazing, even. Completely deserving of Knight-status. Even had an apprentice once..
