You'll need to make a character (Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter ect.) And write a biography on him. Read up on the rules in different sections. Decide what faction you wanna join. There's the Jedi Order, Sith, Union (Thinks Gangsta's), BDE, and others. Take your time, make some friends, maybe just start a thread in Astral Astoria.

Please note in no way do you have to join a faction, that is completely optional. And you're character doesn't have to be a stereotypical star wars characters (it could be like a mechanic or something).

Yeah, to add unto Jan. My character is by no means convential. Jedi are generally skilled and cool. My character fails at ever attempt of coolness and skill. Nothing beats watching a Jedi jump into a ceiling and nearly run into the engines of a Nebulon-B Frigate.
